Artist Jesse Aldanapaints a first-time paraglider rising into a stiff on-shore wind. His family gathers by the coast to watch him in support. They take a photograph of him as he climbs into the sky. Jesse draws inspiration from the winter gales that blow over Santa Monica Bay.
