About this artwork
An island of trees on Lake Cushman on the edge of the Olympic Mountains in Washington State inspired this original landscape oil painting. The lake was formed when a dam was built along the Skokomish River. The evergreen trees of the Pacific Northwest contrasted with beautiful deciduous trees that were beginning to show a tinge of fall color. The edges of the square format painting are painted black and the work is ready to hang.
