About this artwork

There's a three block stretch of Milwaukie Avenue in South East Portland that still feels like Main Street USA. In fact it was Main Street USA before Milwaukie merged Portland as the space between them vanished. But at its heart, the neighborhood movie house. The American house of dreams. They keep it lit right up until just before dawn to keep our dreams alive. I gallery wrap all my canvases and the image continues around the sides (as you can see in the image here.)
