About this artwork

I wanted to evoke a sense of great distance, mixing warm sienna hues with iridescent gold, leading to a hint of trees under heavy skies, shares artist Valerie Berkely. I used a technique of first layering energetic textures, giving this abstract landscape a feeling of weight and depth.
