About this artwork

What started as a playful studio experiment has turned into one of my funnest series yet! Combining my love of fashion with my passion for arabesque, curving lines has resulted in The Curly Girl series, where each painting depicts a linear lady with a signature curly hairdo. The swirling abstract compositions combine with graphic patches of color featuring hues from some of my favorite fashion house's lines. This piece, Grace Blue, is one of this series and highlights a upbeat combination of blue and marigold. It is wired and ready to hang!
