About this artwork

The oversized bird in this painting represents the psychological dissimilarities between nature and the city for me. The female figure, who is calmly interacting with it, further amplifies the absurdity while at the same time makes the situation seem natural. The sides of the gallery-wrapped canvas are painted a warm gray and the piece is wired and ready to hang.
