About this artwork

Watching people on the New York City streets is always intriguing. There are always people on cell phones. How many bags they carry or the need for umbrellas does not hamper them in the least. This painting was executed as a study for a larger painting I recently completed titled Mid Manhattan Drizzle. The painting is varnished, wired and ready for hanging. The edges are a clean white gesso.
