About this artwork

In this surreal painting, a group has cut down a tree in a meadow and found a lost parking meter inside: an artifact from a different time and place. The composition is inspired by paintings from Picasso's Rose Period. The painting continues on to the sides of the gallery-wrapped canvas, and the piece is wired and ready to hang.
