About this artwork

A lone figure stands to the right of the composition, complemented by an abstract cascade of greens, reddish-orange, purple and blue. Her face and torso delicately bathed in warm light. I chose this New York-based model to pose for this composition, says artist Gary Leonard, because of her long graceful figure and demure quality.
