About this artwork

While Onelio traveled to Europe, he stopped in Venice and went for many walks through its labyrinthine sidewalks. On one of those walks he had no particular aim other than to lose himself and enjoy the crumbling architecture. As he traveled, he heard the sound of a cello. He made numerous turns and sorties trying to locate the origin of its mournful tones. Finally, he found its source to be a lone musician that chose a spot where the foot traffic was light but the acoustics were perfect.
