About this artwork

After returning to Aix en Provence from a day tour of the Luberon, artist Jonelle Summerfield and her husband sat down at this busy cafe for dinner. It eventually started raining and we had to move indoors, says Jonelle. Once inside, Jonelle took another reference photo which she then also made into a painting, capturing the cozy indoor part of the cafe.
