About this artwork

This painting depicts a scene I encountered in New York City's Central Park. Central Park is an oasis of calm in a bustling city. Strolling through the park I often stop to enjoy the buskers and contemplate their skills and talents. This particular entertainer captivated me with his unassuming presentation of blowing bubbles. It was a soothing and simple phenomenon that held my attention for a while and added to my enjoyment of one of the world's most beautiful parks. The painting is varnished, wired and ready for hanging. The edges are a clean white gesso.
