About this artwork
I am always intrigued by interior scenes. This particular place is a very inspiring interior of a church in a historical town in New Jersey. The lighting and sense of peace in this building gave me a moment pause. The town is Lambertville and the church is St. John The Evangelist. I decided to include my granddaughter in the scene because she is such an integral part of my life. The painting is varnished, wired and ready for hanging. The edges are a clean white gesso.
