About this artwork

Artist Onelio Marrero captures a quiet autumn morning at Split Rock Reservoir in New Jersey, where he and his wife spent time kayaking through one of its many coves. Rich fall colors fill the scene, while vigorous brushwork creates movement across the water, ripples, and reflections. Rhododendrons and submerged boulders frame the foreground, adding depth to the composition.
