About this artwork

The temperate season shifts in artist Mary Pratt's impressionist landscape. The beautiful marsh brings forth a sense of peace and tranquility. Orange hues denote autumn as tall grasses exchange green for a swath of warmer color. The open corridor condenses into a maze-like pathway accentuating the light. "Driving through marshlands elicits a feeling of incomparable calm," says Mary.
