About this artwork

This painting was inspired by my view from the balcony of the Thunderbird Bar & Grill in Santa Fe of this cowboy walking into the bar below me. In this one, I really emphasized my signature style with very thick strokes of paint that describe the motion of the figure and depict the texture of the moment. The saturated color palette and active surface is protected by a satin varnish. On deep stretch canvas with finished sides and wired on the back, this expressive painting is ready to hang.
