A Time to Bloom
About this artwork
I continue to find inspiration in the hidden places along the Pacific coast, especially the first blush of flowers that bloom along Highway 92 in early spring, shares artist Sheila Finch. While painting these scenic fields outside Half Moon Bay, I often reflect on Claude Monet's quote - 'I must have flowers, always and always.' A line of lavender leads the eye to the cabin in the distance, while trees on both sides create a safe entryway revealing the mountain beyond.
