About this artwork

Inspired by minimalist sculptures, artist Yelitza Diaz executes a concept where a human figure becomes part of contemporary work. She plays with basic geometry and adds the man as a common environmental element. The metallic figure hangs by the white ledge of the conceptual piece. I intend to contribute something new and break the canons previously proposed, says Yelitza.
