About this artwork

Artist Evgenia Smirnova depicts a clown in a red polka-dot costume carrying a balloon of the same color. He leans against a checkered black and white lighthouse. "Welcome to my surreal world," says artist Evgenia. She creates a fanciful narrative with her dreamy choice of subjects and illustrative painting style.
