About this artwork

Artist Fernando Garcia presents the sun descending the horizon in an abstract seascape. Warm rays of light beautifully reflect on the ocean's surface. "After the storm and rain comes the calm," says Fernando. He uses a palette knife to capture the cadent movement of the waves and receding clouds.
