About this artwork
The title is inspired by Leonard Cohen's song 'Anthem' and my eggshell technique on the horse is inspired by the Japanese art form of Kintsugi, repairing broken pottery with gold to create something that is more beautiful because of it's imperfection, not despite it. The gold background and the eggshells continue onto the sides of the gallery wrapped canvas. The back is wired to hang.
