About this artwork

Artist Jodi Dann often takes adventurous hikes outdoors, resulting in fresh and unique abstract pieces. "This fun piece turned into an abstraction about cave hiking," explains Jodi. "It gives the feeling of looking out and up, seeing glimpses of the blue sky." She renders this piece mostly utilizing a silicone brush leaving lively marks and strokes. Lastly, she adds lines from pens, pencils, and oil pastels. "My own petroglyph drawings." Jodi adds that hanging this painting with good lighting will bring out the warm colors.
