About this artwork
This piece depicts the colorful Rainbow Gardens area near Las Vegas. While sheltering in place, artistCrystal DiPietro found peace and solace in these hills very near her home. She started the painting with a detailed graphite drawing and then worked in light washes of color to depict the subtleties of the area.
