About this artwork

The simple joy of a morning glory as it opens up to the world is a reminder to be mindful of the gift of living, says Brit. In this painting I borrowed the intense color of blue morning glories for the mountains. The highly textured surface and low relief effects are created by a combination of embossed papers and layering of acrylic paint.
