About this artwork
Artist Melissa Gannon drew inspiration for this vineyard closeup from Oregon wine country not far from her home. Grapes for wine, grapes to eat, grapes for juice - all waiting for that magical time when the sweetness is perfect, the color is just right and the summer sunshine has transferred into the fruit, she says poetically. I layered and textured into this piece to build visual complexity just as the fruit has layers of flavor.
