About this artwork

A sophisticated, dreamlike view of two distant landscapes, framed and bordered in abstraction. Candice says she developed a unique acrylic/encaustic technique for this work, as seen in the white area. The red area also represents experimentation with acrylic paint. The surfaces are irregular and a bit glossy on the white area. This painting is named Lessons because sometimes when an obstacle appears looming in the background, it helps to change one's perspective, says Candice.
