About this artwork

Patricia builds her compositions intuitively with palette knives, blending colors and developing texture directly on the surface of her panels. She describes this painting as a glimpse into her mind and heart. I spilled the paint across the board to strike with the knife - without retracing my steps - to create calm and calamity at the same time, says Patricia.
