About this artwork

Part of artist Terri Bell's grid series, this piece incorporates geometric shapes into organic arrangements. The painting's complex color palette and grid unify the composition into a coordinated framework. After creating the initial grid, I intuitively built on each segment until a unified composition was made. The composition is both ordered and random as a result of the layering of color and texture, Terri explains.
