About this artwork
For this work I did 2 separate works and put them together. 1. I placed a flatbed scanner on a subwoofer and vibrated objects while the machine was scanning. this is the surface image that appears to be colorful beads glutting out. 2. I built a one of a kind sound to image synthesizer. The image was generated using image processing synthsizers that are sound sensitive meaning: sound effects the way the image looks. I spoke the phrase double dream into the machine and it produced this image. I then printed it onto perforated vinyl and attached it to painted steel bars. The work comes with a template and is very easy to hang. this is the background color field image.
