About this artwork

Ideas are rife with this collage and acrylic composition, says artist Joey Korom. Its intentionally rough surface features the addition of paper, cardboard and used wax-faced palettes. The iconic image of Da Vinci's Mona Lisa adds whimsy. The number three is purely arbitrary but inserts circular forms into a decidedly orthogonal composition. Here yellow rules.The piece is framed in a hand-built oak hardwood frame that measures 2 in depth and .25 thick.
