In a forest of a hundred thousand trees, no two leaves are alike. And no two journeys along the same path are alike. ? Paulo Coelho This mixed media encaustic painting with a detailed image transfer of a wild tree. The painting includes golden paper and thread. The background of the piece is made up of a variety of vintage ephemeral materials including old book pages, maps, letters and more. They quietly peek out in sections of the painting and are completely obscured in other areas. The artwork is on a cradled birch wood panel with the edges painted black. It is wired and ready to hang.
