About this artwork

Inspired by the animal life on Mt. Diablo, the intention is to raise awareness of the natural beauty that lies not that far from our urban existence. I used a cradled birch panel that has been laid with 1906 Vanity Fair pages to adhere the beeswax and fine oils. The edges are black and a cable is attached.
