About this artwork
This painting was done on a homemade cradled panel that is gallery wrapped with linen. I mix oil paints with beeswax and dakar crystals to create a deep lustrous appearance. I like how the linen weave can be seen in areas deep in the finish. The effect is almost like stained glass with the substrate shining through. Edges are black, cabe is attached for easy hanging.
