About this artwork

This painting of spring flowers in the mountains was done with oils and molten beeswax on a cradled panel that has been laid with antique ephemera (in this case a 1906 Vanity Fair). The paper is glued to the panel to grip the beeswax. Edges are black and a cable is attached.
