An expressive abstract reminiscent of cool winds and winter festivities. Artist Courtney Jacobs utilized translucent greens complemented with red lines. Undertones of purple create a balance between the two. For Courtney, painting is an intuitive process that requires as much looking as painting. "This intuitive process taps into the purely visual non-language right brain - a meditative unfolding I liken to 'speaking in tongues,'" says Courtney. "Instead of vocalizing, I let the paint act as my medium of meditation." Courtney then invents titles as a part of this process, which are meant to be spoken aloud by the viewer.
