About this artwork

"One of my favorite neighborhoods is the East Village in New York City," says artist Carey Parks. She paints three women taking a leisurely stroll in the famous area. Carey captures the image as full of life and energy while expressing a relaxed air. She draws inspiration from the community of people and the vibrant colors of the district.
