About this artwork

As I began taking pictures of a herd of cows, I could hear one bellowing very loudly. After a short search, I found her, although she had found me as soon as I showed up. The protective mom, calling the calves closer to her. She was a solid black cow, but she exploded with color. I loved painting her.
