About this artwork

A sunlit path winds through a lush hill in Provence, leading the eye toward distant mountains. Bright green brushstrokes suggest tall grasses and trees swaying in the warm breeze. Pops of red and orange hint at wildflowers blooming along the edges of the trail. Soft blue sky creates a peaceful, open-air atmosphere. The scene captures the beauty of a summer walk through the French countryside. Artist Janet Dyer used a palette knife and brush to create this piece.
