About this artwork

This painting is a study for a larger landscape. I paint with an acrylic wash establishing shapes, color & texture placement. I then use a palette knife with acrylics to block in these areas. The painting is purely an abstracted reference to places I have sketched on location. This painting is wired & ready to hang.
