About this artwork

This painting is part of an ongoing series in which Natasha Tayles abstracts the world around her. Her color palette and mark-making adjust to reference the seasons and even her different states of mind. My references and inspirations come from observing what is around me - nature, places, kids at play, my good moods, feelings on a sunny day when life feels light as feather, says Natasha. I might paint from photos that I took or from my imagination.
