About this artwork

In this abstract, I play with the vibrant pink/mauve and electric center, grounding it with deep reds, rust and beiges and then cooling it all with a splash of deep blue. I have named the resulting balance of energies and color Sensuous Cognition, as discussed by Immanuel Kant in his Critique of Pure Reason.
