About this artwork
I sometimes pass by old farmsteads in the country where the house is on one side of the road and the farm buildings are located on the opposite side, shares artist Sharon France. Warm expansive fields open up before the viewer as a well-trodden path leads to the secluded farmstead. Round fluffy clouds hover in the sky while full circular trees join the angular shapes of the structures below. I painted this piece from my imagination and memories of the countryside.
