About this artwork

Sunsets and red wine seem to go hand in hand, says artist Dorothy Dunn. One can celebrate nature's vibrant display of rich colors from the front porch with a glass in hand. The colors of the painting are evocative of both the sky and contents of one's glass at that perfect time of day. Rendered with multiple raw and controlled pours of transparent and saturated acrylic paint to achieve layered depth and a vibrant work of interest. Dorothy adds that the piece can be displayed either horizontally or vertically.
