About this artwork

An abstract composition layers different shades of blue, with pale turquoise above and deeper cobalt below. Scraped lilac, cream, and a single rust note add contrast. Vertical marks and dragged paint suggest rain, reflection, or a far shoreline without clearly forming a landscape. The surface feels both washed and worked. It appears calm at a distance and restless up close, much like looking out across open water.
