About this artwork

Artist Craig Rouse depicts a minimalist abstract scene expressed with a limited color-blocked palette of 14 colors. Part of his NAR series, meaning No Assembly Required. He bases it on a collection of stacked paper cubes arranged and lit from different angles. Craig paints blunt transitions between the ranges of colors in the style of hard-edge painting.
