Rebecca painted this beautiful piece on Monhegan Island, located about ten miles offshore and over an hour by boat from Port Clyde, Maine. The spirit is on the Mohegan's fairy trail, where you can spend some time exploring the island's spruce forest, the aptly named Cathedral Woods. These woods are part of the vast swath of undeveloped conservation land on the island first protected with great foresight back in the mid-1900s by Theodore Edison.
