About this artwork

Leafless trees stretch upward against a vibrant, lime-green sky. A purple path leads the eye into the distance. The limited palette makes the scene cohesive and tranquil. Artist Peg Belcastro notes that the expansive perspective in the painting resembles a long hike with a distant turnaround point.
