Artist Janet Dyer creates many variations of this same landscape scene, utilizing different media. In this gestural abstract iteration, Janet provides hints of the horizon and a tree with its reflection on the water, creating a mirror image on the bottom half of the composition. Bright pink and red perfectly balances the greens and turquoise. The farther away I get from the original, the freer the interpretation, says Janet.
