Fragmentation II - Pieces
About this artwork
Can something broken remain whole? probes artist Marie-Eve Champagne. Lines connect, disconnect, and reconnect with intertwining strokes in a dynamic rhythm of earthy tones in ochres, greens, and black. Fragments of color appear almost floating on the surface, moved by an unknown current, ready to be reconstructed or deconstructed anew. Yet, in the end, the gist is one of quiet unity. Part of Marie-Eve's Fragmentation series, where she plays with notions of deconstruction and movement.
