About this artwork

This piece is inspired by the northwest where I spend my summer. I recently saw this quote Dolce Far Niente and thought about what it means, the sweetness of doing nothing. Very textured , layered, with hints of metallic, this is reminiscent of a place of relaxation. The sides are painted and it is ready to hang.
